The AECOC National Transport Forum<\/b> is celebrating its 25th edition<\/a> this year and will once again bring together in Madrid many of the professionals driving transport and logistics in Spain. The event, organized by AECOC<\/b><\/span>, is scheduled for March 12, 2026<\/b><\/span> and is presented as a meeting point for manufacturers, distributors, transport companies, logistics operators, technology providers, industry associations, and Public Administrations.<\/p>\n

This discussion features Jean-Louis Colson<\/b><\/span>, Head of Unit at the European Commission\u2019s Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport. <\/span><\/p>\n

2. The shortage of drivers<\/b><\/h3>\n

If there is one part of the agenda that deserves special attention, it is the panel discussion titled \u201cOctober 2026: the sector facing its biggest digital challenge\u201d<\/b><\/span>. AECOC frames it very clearly: Law 9\/2025 on Sustainable Mobility<\/b><\/span> establishes that the administrative control document required for public road freight transport must be digital ten months after the law enters into force. Since the law was published on December 3, 2025<\/b><\/span>, that mandatory change puts the focus on October 2026<\/b><\/span>. <\/span><\/p>\n
